To use this extension arm you need the stand with the "track" on the underside of the stand's arms. I didn't relize that Hitachi made two types of stands very similar in design. The return process went very smoothly and I received my refund in a very timely manner. Received the item and it looked like it was of good quality and would work well. Sorry to say I had to returm it.
Sturdy aluminum construction, when properly tightened it will not move, making repeatable accurate cuts I got this for my Bosch T3B miter saw stand, works great.
It works great for doing repeat cuts. I do not understand why Amazon is marketing this for the uu610. I bought the uu610 and this was part of the package.
